West Kelowna is a very good municipality to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. There are over 100 parks nearby for residents to relax in, making them easy to reach. This municipality is also very good for those who need quiet surroundings, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue.
Driving is a great means of transportation in West Kelowna. The majority of homes for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 97C, and parking is quite easy. On the other hand, West Kelowna is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the municipality is connected by around 10 bus lines, and it is easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most homes. Travelling on foot is not very practical for residents in West Kelowna since meeting daily needs is very challenging by walking.
