The majority of locations within the neighbourhood have good access to parks, including Charleswood Place, and there are a few of them nearby for residents to enjoy. It is relatively calm in this part of Winnipeg, as there are very few people out and about on the streets.


Driving is very often the best method to navigate Wilkes South. It is very easy to find a parking spot. However, Wilkes South is not a very convenient part of Winnipeg for getting around by public transit.
