Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in this reserve. It is a reasonably short drive to the nearest highway from any home in Williams Lake 1, and it is especially convenient to park. A majority of the houses for sale in this reserve are located in areas that are not very suitable for walking since running common errands is nearly impossible on foot.


In Williams Lake 1, the overwhelming majority of dwellings are single detached homes, and the rest of the houses are mainly townhouses. Around 30% of properties in this reserve were built in the 1990s, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s. This reserve is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes. About three quarters of the population of this reserve own their home while renters make up the remainder.
