It is occasionally difficult for people travelling on foot to move around in Winnipeg because carrying out daily needs is challenging.


Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing the majority of dwellings in Winnipeg, but large apartment buildings and small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. It is convenient to access the closest supermarket on foot in Winnipeg. Marion Street is among the best streets for groceries. There are also a limited number of opportunities for those who appreciate close by restaurants and cafes. Regarding education, parents and their children will welcome that wherever their home is located in Winnipeg, both primary and secondary schools are close by. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools. In contrast, daycares are not particularly plentiful and thus not always within walking distance.
