This part of Calgary is excellent for those who need quiet areas, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Transportation

Cars are a good mode of transportation in Woodlands. Parking is easy. On the other hand, this part of Calgary is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. Biking is challenging in this area because. Nevertheless, there are a limited number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave. It is also inconvenient for people walking to move around in Woodlands because very few common errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle.

Housing

Homeowners occupy about three quarters of the properties in the neighbourhood whereas the rest are rented. In this neighbourhood, most buildings are single detached homes, while the remainder are mainly townhouses. Most housing in this part of the city was built between 1960 and 1980, during its largest building boom. This area is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.

Parents and their children will appreciate that wherever their home is situated in Woodlands, schools and daycares are nearby. When it comes to food, it is convenient to access the closest supermarket on foot from anywhere in Woodlands. A limited number of restaurants can be found in this part of the city as well.
