Ahuntsic is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the ambience of this part of the city. Ahuntsic is quiet, as the streets tend to be calm. This part of the city is very transit friendly as a consequence of 3 rapid transit stations (Station Cartier (zone B), Sauvé Station and Henri-Bourassa Station) with access to the Ligne 2 - Orange, and around 50 nearby bus lines. Ahuntsic is also very well-suited for pedestrians; running common errands is convenient without a vehicle, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Ahuntsic will draw active home buyers because it is moderately suitable for bicycling. In particular, the cycling infrastructure is moderately comprehensive.

Housing
