Transportation

Driving is a very good mode of transportation in this hamlet. It is very easy to access a place to park. The bike is a fairly poor method of transportation in Aklavik as this hamlet has quite poor bicycling infrastructure. Thankfully, it is a flat ride to most locations. It is also very difficult for pedestrians to get around in Aklavik since running daily errands is very challenging without a vehicle.

Housing

In Aklavik, around half of buildings are single detached homes, whereas the rest are mainly townhouses.
