Alces is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. The noise levels in Alces are very low, as the streets tend to be very peaceful. Access to parks is occasionally difficult in the neighbourhood since they aren't well-spread out. Despite that, there are a few green spaces close by for residents to check out.
Transportation
Cars are an excellent transportation option in this neighbourhood. Nearby highways are reasonably easy to access from any home in Alces, and it is especially convenient to find a parking spot. However, the public transit service in this part of the city is not very frequent. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood. Cycling is at times difficult in Alces as there are a good number of hills, and this part of Edmonton is home to quite poor bicycling infrastructure. Alces is also not very suitable for people who get around as pedestrians since running daily errands is inconvenient without a car.

Services
Doing one's groceries often requires the use of a car in this part of the city. In terms of education, parents and their children will value the proximity to daycares, which are within walking distance from the majority of houses for sale in Alces. In contrast, there are no primary schools and no high schools in this neighbourhood.
