Argyle Park is a great neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. This area is very quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, a large number of locations within the neighbourhood have reasonably good access to green spaces, such as Sangster Park and Stan Oxelgren Park, since there are about 40 of them nearby for residents to check out.

Transportation

The car is usually the best approach to move around in Argyle Park. It is very convenient to park, and many homes for sale are a short drive from the closest highway. However, the public transit access in this part of Regina is not very convenient. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and it is especially convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most houses. The bike is a reasonably good method of transportation in Argyle Park since it is a flat ride to most locations. In contrast, getting around on foot in this part of the city is not very common, even though many day-to-day errands can be run without a vehicle.

Housing

Homeowners occupy roughly three quarters of the units in the neighbourhood whereas renters occupy the remainder. In this neighbourhood, most dwellings are single detached homes, but small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood took place in the 1960s and 1970s. This part of the city offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.

Services

It is a very short distance to reach daycares and primary schools from any location in Argyle Park. In contrast, it can be difficult to travel to high schools from homes for sale in this neighbourhood. Regarding eating, the nearest grocery store in Argyle Park is generally only a rather long distance away. Moreover, this part of Regina is a fairly good place in which to eat out, and residents are served by a few cafes as well.
