Aspen Ridge is a very good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. This part of Saskatoon is very quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Finally, reaching public green spaces from most locations within the neighbourhood, like Funk Park, is easy and there are a few of them nearby for residents to unwind in.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent mode of transportation in Aspen Ridge. It is very easy to park. In contrast, public transit riders may find few options in this area due to the service's low frequency. Thankfully, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and it is especially convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. It is very challenging for people travelling by foot to get around in Aspen Ridge because very few common errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle. Even though there are a limited number of slopes to challenge cyclists, this part of Saskatoon is also not particularly conducive to biking because the bicycling network is not very extensive.

Housing

In Aspen Ridge, many dwellings are single detached homes, but duplexes are also present in the housing stock. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy roughly two thirds of the properties in Aspen Ridge while renters occupy the remainder. A majority of the housing growth in this area has happened after the year 2000.

Services

Aspen Ridge does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Moreover, daycares are not very numerous and accordingly not always within a short distance. With respect to food, it is rarely an option for property owners in this neighbourhood to do grocery shopping by walking. Residents of Aspen Ridge can enjoy a few restaurants.
