Aupaluk Real Estate & Houses for Sale

Aupaluk is a village to buy a house in for those who prefer a chill ambience. As there are very few pedestrians, Aupaluk is relatively quiet.

    Transportation

Aupaluk is very car friendly. It is very easy to come across a place to park. Traveling on foot is not very feasible for house buyers in this village as meeting daily needs is inconvenient without a car. Aupaluk is also not very cycling-friendly.

    Housing

In Aupaluk, the majority of dwellings are townhouses, whereas the rest are mainly single detached homes. The homes in this village are quite new, since roughly 30% of its dwellings were constructed in the 1980s, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1990s. This part of Nord-du-Québec has a good choice of housing size options, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Roughly all of the population of this village rent their home whereas owners make up the remainder.

    Services

In all cases, a car is required in this village to access the closest supermarket. In terms of education, both primary and secondary schools are very easy to get to on foot from anywhere in Aupaluk. On the other hand, parents and their schoolchildren may consider it very difficult to access daycares as pedestrians.
