    Azilda is a very good community to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced ambience. The noise levels in this part of the city are very low, as the streets are usually very peaceful. Lastly, green spaces, like Whitewaterlake Park, are very well-spread out and there are a few of them nearby for residents to discover, which makes it easy to reach them.

    Transportation

    Azilda is particularly car friendly. Parking is generally easy. However, Azilda is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, property owners have access to a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close by. The bicycle is a rather poor mode of transportation in Azilda since there are few bike lanes, and the topography is not especially flat. Walking is also not very feasible for house buyers in this area because very few day-to-day errands can be run without a car.

    Housing

    About 30% of properties in Azilda were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s. In this area, the majority of buildings are single detached homes, but small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. Homeowners occupy about 70% of the dwellings in the community and 30% are occupied by renters. This part of Greater Sudbury is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.

    Services

    It is a reasonably short distance to access primary schools and daycares from most houses for sale in Azilda. In contrast, there are no high schools in this community. As far as eating is concerned, a supermarket is usually accessible within a short stroll from most houses for sale in Azilda. Residents of Azilda are served by a few restaurants as well.
