Beaconsfield is a reasonably good city to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. The noise levels in this part of the Greater Montréal metropolitan area are low, as the streets are generally quite tranquil - although that is not the case closer to Autoroute du Souvenir or one of the railway lines. Finally, greenery is prominent in this city; green spaces are especially well-spread out and there are around 40 of them close by for residents to unwind in, which results in them being easy to reach from the majority of locations within the city. Residents will also find that there are numerous tree-lined streets.
Driving is a great transportation option in this part of the Greater Montréal metropolitan area. It is especially convenient to park, and it is a short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Autoroute du Souvenir, from any home in Beaconsfield. On the other hand, travelling by transit can be difficult in Beaconsfield as a result of the low service level. Nonetheless, there is the Beaurepaire Station and Beaconsfield Station on the Vaudreuil-Hudson Line. There are a few bus lines traversing the city, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. Although there are not many slopes to confront bike riders, Beaconsfield is not very conducive to cycling because there are few bike lanes. A majority of the houses for sale in this city are located in areas that are also not very conducive to those who travel by foot because common amenities such as hardware stores or post offices can be a rather long walk away.

Some, but not all, home buyers in Beaconsfield will reside within walking distance of the closest supermarket. A small number of restaurants and cafes can be found as well. With respect to education, daycares and primary schools are convenient to get to on foot from anywhere in this city. On the other hand, high schools are not particularly plentiful and thus not always within walking distance.
