Blackbridge is very good for those who need quiet areas, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Green spaces aren't well-distributed, which makes it sometimes hard to access them. Still, there are a few parks nearby for residents to explore.
This area is especially car friendly. It is very easy to park. However, the public transit system in Blackbridge is rather limited. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. Blackbridge is not very conducive to walking as very few day-to-day errands can be run on foot. It is also difficult to move around by bicycle in Blackbridge as there is a significant amount of elevation changes, and the cycling network is fairly poor.
Blackbridge experienced its largest construction boom after the year 2000, so most of the available properties are from this time period. In this part of the city, around 80% of buildings are single detached homes, and the remaining properties are mainly townhouses. About 85% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 15% are rented. This area is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.
It is a rather short walk to access primary schools from anywhere in Blackbridge. However, this area does not contain any high schools. Regarding eating, in all cases, a car is needed in this neighbourhood to access the nearest supermarket.
