The bicycle is a fairly poor means of transportation in Bonnechere Valley because cyclists encounter a significant amount of slopes, and the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive. Most houses for sale in this township are located in areas that are also not very convenient for people who prefer to get around by foot as almost no day-to-day errands can be run without a car.

Housing

The predominance of single detached homes in the housing stock of Bonnechere Valley is an important part of its character. Roughly 40% of properties in this township were constructed prior to the 1960s, while the majority of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1980s.
