This area is particularly car friendly. Nearby highways are very easy to reach from any location in this neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to access a place to park. However, residents using public transit may have limited options in this part of St. Albert due to the service's low frequency. Thankfully, there are approximately 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. This part of the city is moderately bike-friendly because Braeside has fairly good bicycling infrastructure. On the other hand, there aren't many pedestrians out on the streets of Braeside, although running daily errands is easy without a vehicle.

In Braeside, many dwellings are single detached homes, and the remaining properties are mainly small apartment buildings. This area offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
