Brant Hills offers a calm environment and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. The noise levels in this area are very low, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Finally, it is easy to access green spaces from many locations within the neighbourhood since there are around 30 of them nearby for residents to unwind in.

Transportation

This area is very car friendly. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway, such as Highway 407, from any location in Brant Hills, and it is easy to find a place to park. On the other hand, Brant Hills is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are around 10 bus lines, and bus stops are generally very close by. The bike is a somewhat poor mode of transportation in Brant Hills because there are a fair number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists, and the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive. This area is also not particularly suitable for those who like to travel as pedestrians because few daily needs can be met without a vehicle.

Housing

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing about 55% of buildings in Brant Hills, and the rest of the homes are mainly large apartment buildings and townhouses. There is a higher proportion of three bedroom homes in this neighbourhood. Roughly 85% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 15% are rented. A majority of the housing growth in this part of the city happened in the 1960s and 1970s.

Services

A grocery store is usually reachable within a rather short walk from most homes for sale in this neighbourhood. There are also around 20 restaurants and coffee shops in this area. With regards to education, families will welcome that wherever their house is located in Brant Hills, daycares and primary schools are nearby. However, high schools are not plentiful and accordingly not always within walking distance.
