Although this neighbourhood is not known for its lively atmosphere, its main streets can still be quite energetic, and finding one of the approximately 20 nightlife venues is very easy since they are generally located around the corner. At the same time, this area is especially quiet, as the streets are very tranquil.

Transportation

Traveling by walking is reasonably practical for property owners in this area; running common errands is convenient without a car, and numerous businesses are close by. In contrast, the bicycle is a sometimes poor mode of transportation in this part of St. John's as riding is made arduous by the often steep terrain, and there are a limited number of bike lanes. Buckmaster's Circle is not an especially convenient part of St. John's for moving around by public transit. Thankfully, property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly around the corner. However, Buckmaster's Circle is car friendly. Many homes for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, and it is easy to park.
