Caernarvon is an excellent neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. This area is very quiet overall, as the streets tend to be especially peaceful. Lastly, green spaces, like Caernarvon Park, are especially well-situated and there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit, making it easy to reach them.


Getting around by car is straightforward in Caernarvon. It is very easy to park. On the other hand, the public transit system in Caernarvon is not particularly practical. Nonetheless, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most residences. This area is quite bicycling-friendly as the topography is reasonably flat, and the cycling infrastructure is extensive. Walking is not especially feasible for house buyers in Caernarvon since few daily errands can be run without the use of a car.


Single detached homes and townhouses are the main housing type in Caernarvon. This area offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy around three quarters of the dwellings in Caernarvon whereas renters occupy the remainder. Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood occurred between 1960 and 1980.


In this area, families will typically be able to reach daycares and primary schools by walking. In contrast, Caernarvon does not have any high schools. In terms of food, the closest grocery store in Caernarvon is generally only a short walk away. A limited variety of restaurants can be found in this area as well.
