Despite the somewhat busy feel, there are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Cedardale. It is very easy to reach parks in the neighbourhood since there are around 30 of them nearby for residents to unwind in. This area remains relatively quiet, thanks to the presence of few pedestrians; however those who are around taylor way or Trans-Canada Highway may experience more noise.

Transportation

It is easy for people travelling by foot to move around in Cedardale; many daily needs can be met without a vehicle, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Riding a bike is reasonably prevalent in this area as Cedardale features fairly good cycling infrastructure. The transit service in this part of the municipality is not especially convenient. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by about 10 bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually very close by. In contrast, moving around by car is very convenient in this part of West Vancouver. It is a short drive to the nearest highway, such as taylor way, from any location in Cedardale, and it is very easy to park.

Housing

Homeowners occupy roughly two thirds of the properties in the neighbourhood while the remainder are rented. In this neighbourhood, about one third of buildings are large apartment buildings, while the remainder are mainly small apartment buildings and single detached homes. About 30% of properties in this area were constructed between 1960 and 1980, while most of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1990s. This neighbourhood has a good selection of housing sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.

Services

A supermarket is usually reachable within a short stroll from anywhere in Cedardale. In addition, there are a good number of choices for those who appreciate nearby restaurants and cafes. It is also a short stroll to a very good selection of clothing stores. With regards to education, families will find that wherever their home is situated in Cedardale, daycares and primary schools are close by. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this part of the municipality.
