One of the highlights of Centennial Park is its great variety of green spaces. More specifically, it is very easy to get to green spaces from the majority of locations in the neighbourhood, since there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to check out, including Broadacres Park and Bloordale Park. This neighbourhood has many areas that are very calm and quiet; however other spots can be noisy, especially around Highway 427.

Transportation

Centennial Park presents house buyers with the choice between various means of transportation. Thanks to various rapid transit stations with access to the Meadowvale Express, and about 20 nearby bus lines, travelling by public transit is easy in this neighbourhood. However, walking in this area is not very popular, even though running daily errands is easy without a vehicle. Biking is convenient in this neighbourhood since there are a limited number of slopes for cyclists to brave. Moving around by car is also very convenient in Centennial Park. Parking is easy, and most houses for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 427.

Housing

Roughly three quarters of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners whereas renters occupy the remainder. In this neighbourhood, around half of dwellings are large apartment buildings, and the remaining houses are mainly single detached homes. A majority of the housing growth in this part of Toronto happened in the 1960s and 1970s. This neighbourhood offers mainly two bedroom and three bedroom homes.

It is a short stroll to get to schools and daycares from anywhere in Centennial Park. With respect to eating, property owners in this neighbourhood will be pleased to learn that a grocery store is always only a short trip away. In addition, there is typically a restaurant or cafe just around the corner. It is also easy to get to a variety of clothing stores on foot.
