Public green spaces are very well-spread out and there are a few of them nearby for residents to unwind in, which results in them being easy to access from most locations in the neighbourhood. Chappelle Area is very car friendly. It is very easy to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in Chappelle Area is not very frequent. This neighbourhood also has a selection of housing size options; although this part of Edmonton is particularly good for those looking for three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy around 80% of the properties in Chappelle Area while the remainder are rented. A majority of the houses available in the housing market in this area were constructed following the year 2000, when most of the housing growth took place.


A car is almost always needed in this area to access the nearest supermarket. Property owners are served by a few cafes. Concerning education, primary schools are often an extended walk away, and there are no high schools in this part of Edmonton.
