Chappelle Area is very quiet overall, as there are low levels of noise from traffic. Accessing public green spaces is sometimes challenging in the neighbourhood since they aren't well-spread out. Still, there are a few parks nearby for residents to relax in.


Cars are a great mode of transportation in this neighbourhood. Parking is quite easy. However, Chappelle Area is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines. Most homes for sale in this area are located in places that are not very well-suited for walking because many daily needs are very difficult to meet on foot. However, the bicycle is a good method of transportation in this part of Edmonton since there are a limited number of hills to challenge cyclists.


The housing stock of Chappelle Area is composed predominantly of single detached homes and townhouses. The buildings in this neighbourhood are very new, since nearly all of its buildings were built after the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed 1990. This neighbourhood also has a selection of unit sizes; this area is notable for those looking for three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy about 80% of the dwellings in the neighbourhood and the rest are rented.


Chappelle Area does not contain any high schools or primary schools. When it comes to food, in all cases, a vehicle is needed to shop for groceries.
