Around one third of properties in this neighbourhood were constructed pre-1960, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1990s. This part of the city is primarily composed of two bedroom and one bedroom homes. The split between homeowners and renters is about even.

It is convenient to reach both a general and a specialty grocery store on foot from most houses for sale in this part of Toronto. Wilson Avenue is among the best streets for food stores. Additionally, there are a fair number of options in close proximity for those who value restaurants and cafes. It is also very easy to reach a selection of clothing stores on foot, for example on Bathurst Street. Regarding education, daycares and schools are convenient to get to on foot from anywhere in Clanton Park. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools.
