It is very difficult for pedestrians to move around in this neighbourhood since almost no common errands can be run without the need for a car. Cloverdale is also not very bike-friendly because the bicycling infrastructure is quite bad, and there are a good number of slopes for cyclists to brave.

In Cloverdale, the overwhelming majority of dwellings are single detached homes, and the rest of the houses are mainly mobile homes. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy nearly 95% of the dwellings in Cloverdale whereas the remainder are rented. Roughly 30% of homes in this part of Colchester Subdivision C were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1980s.
Services
There are no high schools and no primary schools in this neighbourhood. Furthermore, daycares are not numerous and thus tend to require a very long trip to get to. As far as eating is concerned, a vehicle is almost always needed in this part of Colchester Subdivision C to reach the nearest supermarket.
