Reaching public green spaces is easy in the neighbourhood, since there are approximately 10 of them close by for residents to visit and getting to the closest park is easy from a lot of houses for sale. Lastly, this part of the city is an excellent area for those who don't mind a bit of noise, as traffic during rush hour can occasionally be loud.

Transportation

Coldsprings is very car friendly. Nearby highways, such as Highway 7 & 115, are very easy to drive to from any home in this part of the city, and it is very easy to park. On the other hand, this neighbourhood is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually very close by. Travelling by bicycle is challenging in Coldsprings because the terrain is not especially flat, and there are few bike lanes. Coldsprings is also not very convenient for those who prefer to travel as pedestrians as few common errands can be run without the use of a car.

Housing

In Coldsprings, roughly half of dwellings are single detached homes, whereas the remainder are mainly townhouses. Many of the properties in this neighbourhood were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Around 60% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 40% are occupied by renters.

Services

Daycares and primary schools are convenient to access as a pedestrian from any location in Coldsprings. In contrast, high schools are not abundant and therefore not always within a short distance. Regarding food, purchasing one's groceries often necessitates the use of a car in this area. A limited number of restaurants can be found in Coldsprings as well.
