Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in Cypress. It is especially convenient to park, and it is a rather short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in this neighbourhood. However, the transit infrastructure in Cypress is fairly poor. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. Getting around by foot is not very convenient for house buyers in this part of the municipality as many daily needs are impractical to carry out without the use of a car. It is also sometimes challenging to commute by bike in Cypress since the bicycling infrastructure is quite bad, and bike riders encounter a significant amount of hills.

Housing

Roughly 85% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and the rest are renters. The housing stock of this part of the municipality is composed predominantly of single detached homes and townhouses. Around one quarter of properties in this neighbourhood were constructed pre-1960, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1980s. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.

It is a very short distance to access daycares and primary schools from most properties for sale in Cypress. On the other hand, there are no high schools in Cypress. Regarding food, home buyers in this neighbourhood often have to rely on a car to travel to the nearest supermarket.
