Debert Real Estate & Houses for Sale

Debert is a great neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. Debert is especially quiet overall, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic near Highway 104, the airport (Debert Airport) or the railway line.

    Transportation

The car is very often the best way to navigate this part of the subdivision of a county municipality. It is especially convenient to park. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of Colchester Subdivision B are located in areas that are not very suitable for people who get around as pedestrians because almost no daily needs can be carried out without a car. Cycling is also difficult in this neighbourhood because there are very few bike lanes, and there are a good number of elevation changes.

    Housing

The large proportion of single detached homes in the housing stock of Debert is an important part of its character. This area is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy about 85% of the units in the neighbourhood while the rest are rented. Roughly 30% of properties in this neighbourhood were built between 1960 and 1980, while the majority of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1980s.

    Services

It is very rarely practical for home buyers in this neighbourhood to do grocery shopping by foot. Regarding education, Debert does not have any high schools or primary schools. Additionally, parents and their children may find it very hard to reach daycares by foot.
