Transportation

Cars are an excellent means of transportation in this parish. It is very easy to find a parking spot. Denmark is not very conducive to cycling since there are a good number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave, and there are very few bike lanes. A majority of the houses for sale in this parish are located in places that are also not very suitable for people who like to get around as pedestrians because many day-to-day needs are practically impossible to carry out without the use of a car.

Housing

In Denmark, the overwhelming majority of dwellings are single detached homes, and the rest are mainly small apartment buildings. About one third of properties in this parish were constructed prior to the 1960s, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1980s. This part of Victoria County is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes. Roughly 90% of the population of this parish own their home and 10% are renters.
