Disley is a fairly good village to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. Disley is reasonably quiet, as the streets tend to be peaceful.

Transportation

Driving is very often the best method to move around in Disley. It is very convenient to park. Many of the houses for sale in this village are located in places that are not very well-suited for pedestrians as most daily needs are practically impossible to meet without a car. Moving around by bicycle is also challenging in Disley because the cycling infrastructure is quite poor. Nonetheless, there are a limited number of hills.

Housing

Nearly all of the units in the village are occupied by homeowners while the remainder are rented. In this village, most dwellings are single detached homes, while the rest are mainly mobile homes. Roughly one third of properties in this village were built pre-1960, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s. This part of Division No. 6 offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of the Greater Regina metropolitan area. In addition, it can be very difficult to get to daycares as a pedestrian. Concerning food, in all cases, a vehicle is required to shop for groceries.
