Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in Division No. 1, Subdivision C. It is especially convenient to find a place to park, and most of the street infrastructure is well suited for cars. Bicycling is very hard in Division No. 1, Subdivision C as there are very few bike lanes, and cyclists are faced with a significant amount of slopes. Most homes for sale in this unorganized area are located in places that are also not very conducive to people who like to get around by foot because running daily errands is practically impossible without the use of a vehicle.

Housing

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing the overwhelming majority of dwellings in Division No. 1, Subdivision C. This unorganized area offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy nearly all of the units in the unorganized area whereas renters occupy the remainder. Around one third of properties in this unorganized area were constructed pre-1960, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s.

There are only a very small number of high schools in Division No. 1, Subdivision C and accordingly they can be a very long stroll away. Moreover, this unorganized area does not have any primary schools. Additionally, families may find it very difficult to get to daycares as pedestrians. In terms of eating, property owners in Division No. 1, Subdivision C almost always have to rely on a vehicle to purchase groceries.
