Cycling is also sometimes difficult in this neighbourhood as there are few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of hills.

In this neighbourhood, most buildings are single detached homes, while the remainder are mainly townhouses. This neighbourhood experienced its most significant construction boom between 1960 and 1980, so most of the available properties are from this time period. This area also has a selection of unit sizes - there is a higher proportion of three bedroom homes in this neighbourhood.

The nearest supermarket in this area is generally only a rather long distance away. Likewise, this part of the city is a good place in which to eat out or go to a cafe. In terms of education, in Donevan, parents and their children will usually be able to access daycares and primary schools without a car. In contrast, high schools are not particularly abundant and therefore not always within a short distance.
