This neighbourhood also has a good choice of housing sizes; it is quite easy to find properties ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. About three quarters of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and the rest are rented. This area did not experience a single construction boom; the construction of new homes in Downtown was spread throughout multiple decades in recent history.

When it comes to eating, it is convenient to access both a general and a specialty grocery store by foot from most properties for sale in this area.
