Moving around by car is very easy in East Dover. It is especially convenient to park. Walking is not very feasible for property owners in this community as running common errands is practically impossible without a car. East Dover is also not very suited for biking because this area is home to quite bad cycling infrastructure, and the terrain is not especially flat.

In East Dover, the overwhelming majority of dwellings are single detached homes.
