East End is reasonably quiet, as the streets tend to be calm - however some areas can be quite loud, especially closer to the railway line.
This area is very car friendly. It is very easy to park. However, commuting by public transit is difficult in East End. Nonetheless, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close. Travelling on foot is not very practical for home buyers in this neighbourhood as very few daily needs can be met by walking.
East End experienced its most significant construction boom pre-1960, so most of the available properties are from this time period. In this neighbourhood, roughly two thirds of dwellings are single detached homes, and the rest are mainly small apartment buildings. The split between renters and homeowners is about even. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes.
Parents and their schoolchildren will welcome that no matter where their property is situated in this area, primary schools are nearby. In contrast, there are no high schools in this part of the city. Regarding food, home buyers in East End usually have to rely on a car to reach the closest grocery store. Residents of East End are served by a few restaurants as well.
