Parks are especially well-situated and there are a few of them nearby for residents to check out, which makes them easy to get to.

Transportation

Eastview is a fairly pleasant part of Regina for pedestrians; many daily errands can be run without a car, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. It is a rather short drive to the closest highway from any home in this area, and finding a parking spot is quite easy.

Housing

About two thirds of the population of this neighbourhood own their home whereas renters make up the remainder. In this neighbourhood, most dwellings are single detached homes, while duplexes are also present in the housing stock. The buildings in this part of the city are quite old, because about one third of its dwellings were constructed pre-1960, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 2000s. This area is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes.

The nearest grocery store in Eastview is usually only a long distance away. In addition, there are a fair number of opportunities for those who value nearby restaurants and cafes. It is also a rather short distance to a decent selection of clothing stores. When it comes to education, in Eastview, families will almost always be able to reach daycares without the use of a vehicle. On the other hand, there are no primary schools and no high schools in Eastview.
