Edmonton Northlands is a good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere. This part of the city is quiet overall, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, although this part of Edmonton is not home to any green spaces, parks are especially well-located in nearby neighbourhoods, making them very easy to reach.


Edmonton Northlands permits house buyers to travel using several means of transportation. Edmonton Northlands is transit friendly. Rapid transit stations, such as Coliseum Station with access to the Capital Line, are commonly a short walk away from the majority of homes in the neighbourhood. There are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. It is also easy for pedestrians to navigate Edmonton Northlands; many daily errands can be run on foot. The bike is a good means of transportation in this neighbourhood since cyclists do not face serious elevation changes, and the cycling infrastructure is reasonably extensive.

A majority of the housing growth in this part of the city occurred prior to the 1960s. This neighbourhood offers mainly three bedroom and two bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy about two thirds of the properties in Edmonton Northlands whereas the remainder are rented.


It is usually feasible for property owners in Edmonton Northlands to buy their groceries on foot. Additionally, a restaurant is usually just around the corner. As far as education is concerned, parents and their children will find that wherever their property is located in Edmonton Northlands, both primary and secondary schools are close by. In contrast, daycares are not especially plentiful and consequently not always within walking distance.
