Transportation

Cars are a great medium of transportation in Ellerslie. It is a reasonably short drive to the nearest highway from anywhere in this part of Edmonton, and it is easy to access a place to park. In contrast, Ellerslie is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, residents are served by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. It is sometimes challenging for pedestrians to navigate this area because running daily errands is impractical. In contrast, the bike is a good means of transportation in Ellerslie as the cycling network is very well-developed, and there are a limited number of hills to challenge cyclists.

In Ellerslie, families will generally be able to reach primary schools and daycares by walking. However, there are no high schools in this area. With respect to eating, it is easy to access the closest supermarket on foot from any location in Ellerslie.
