Escuminac is particularly car friendly. It is especially convenient to park. It is very challenging for people walking to move around in this municipality as almost no common errands can be run without the use of a car. Commuting by bicycle is also very difficult in Escuminac because the cycling network is not very extensive, and there are a good number of elevation changes.
