Transportation

The best way to move around in Faro is usually a car. It is very easy to access a parking spot. Many of the houses for sale in this town are located in areas that are not very suitable for those who like to get around on foot because running daily errands is very difficult without needing to resort to a vehicle. Bicycling is also difficult in Faro since the cycling network is not very comprehensive, and the terrain is not very flat.

Housing

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing about 60% of dwellings in Faro, whereas the remainder are mainly mobile homes. This part of Yukon offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Around two thirds of the population of this town own their home whereas the remainder are renters. Most housing in this part of Yukon was constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, during its biggest building boom.

Getting to the nearest supermarket by walking is possible for some, but not all, house buyers in this town. In terms of education, both primary and secondary schools are straightforward to access without needing to get in a car from most properties for sale in Faro. On the other hand, daycares are not numerous and consequently not always within a short distance.
