There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Fatima. To be more specific, there are approximately 10 parks close by for residents to discover, which makes it easy to get to them. At the same time, there are few tree-lined streets. Lastly, this area remains relatively quiet, since there are very few people out and about on the streets.


Fatima is an extraordinarily good part of Longueuil for driving. Many homes for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway, such as Autoroute Transcanadienne, and it is very convenient to come across a place to park. On the other hand, the public transit network in this neighbourhood is rather poor. Nonetheless, there are around 10 bus lines, and bus stops are usually nearby. Walking is not very practical for residents in this part of Longueuil as running common errands is challenging. In contrast, it is convenient to move around by bike in Fatima as the bicycling network is fairly good.


Small apartment buildings are the most common housing type, representing the majority of dwellings in Fatima, and the rest of the dwellings are mainly single detached homes. This part of the city is primarily composed of three bedroom and two bedroom homes. About 55% of the population of this neighbourhood rent their home whereas the rest are owners. Roughly one third of homes in this part of Longueuil were built in the 1980s, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1960s.


High schools and primary schools are not particularly plentiful in Fatima, and thus may be a rather long walk away. Moreover, parents and their kids may find it challenging to access daycares as a pedestrian. Concerning eating, it is rarely practical for house buyers in Fatima to reach the nearest supermarket on foot. There are also a few options for those who care about restaurants in close proximity.
