Fraser offers a slower-paced environment and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. It is easy to access public green spaces in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit. This part of Edmonton is also excellent for those who need a quiet atmosphere, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic.


Moving around by car is straightforward in this part of the city. It is very convenient to park. However, Fraser is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close. Fraser is quite conducive to cycling as cyclists do not face significant hills, and there are a good number of bike lanes. Fraser is not very convenient for those who travel by foot as most daily needs are difficult to carry out without having to use a vehicle.


The majority of the housing stock of Fraser consists of small apartment buildings and single detached homes, and the rest are mainly townhouses. About 40% of properties in this neighbourhood were constructed in the 1980s, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1990s. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy about two thirds of the units in Fraser whereas renters occupy the remainder.


Parents and their kids will value the proximity to primary schools, which are within walking distance from most houses for sale in Fraser. However, this neighbourhood does not contain any high schools. When it comes to eating, house buyers in Fraser usually have to turn to a car to reach the closest supermarket. There are a few choices for those who value close by restaurants.
