It is very easy to access green spaces from the majority of locations in the neighbourhood since there are approximately 10 of them nearby for residents to discover. Finally, thanks to the presence of few people out and about on the streets, this part of Hamilton is relatively quiet, although those who are around Queen Elizabeth Way or the railway line may experience more noise.

Transportation

Grayside is fairly appropriate for biking. A majority of the homes for sale in this area are located in places that are also reasonably well-suited for people who like to travel on foot; many common errands can be run without a vehicle. Driving is an excellent means of transportation in this area. It is a rather short drive to the nearest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, from any location in Grayside, and it is straightforward to park. However, the public transit service in this part of the city is not especially frequent. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most residences are very close to a bus stop.

Housing

Roughly two thirds of the population of this neighbourhood own their home while the remainder are renters. Single detached homes are the main housing type, representing the majority of buildings in this part of Hamilton. About one third of properties in this neighbourhood were built between 1980 and 1990, while many of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1960s. This area offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.

Services

Parents and their kids will appreciate the proximity to daycares and primary schools, which are within a short distance from vast majority houses for sale in Grayside. In contrast, this area does not have any high schools. As far as eating is concerned, the closest supermarket in Grayside is typically only a short stroll away. Moreover, there is generally a restaurant or cafe just around the corner. A good selection of clothing stores is also situated within a reasonably short walking distance.
