Transportation

Driving is an excellent mode of transportation in Griffin. It is very easy to find a place to park. However, this part of Winnipeg is not very transit friendly. Cycling is convenient in Griffin as there are not many elevation changes to challenge cyclists. In this part of Winnipeg, about two thirds of buildings are single detached homes, but townhouses are also present in the housing stock. This area experienced its largest construction boom in the 1960s and 1970s, so most of the available housing is from this era. This neighbourhood offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.

It is a reasonably short walk to get to daycares and schools from most homes for sale in this area. When it comes to food, a vehicle is commonly needed in Griffin to reach the nearest supermarket.
