Haddow is a wonderful neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere. The noise levels in this area are especially low, as the streets are very peaceful. Lastly, reaching public green spaces in the neighbourhood, like Haddow Park, is easy since there are a few of them nearby for residents to check out.


Driving is very often the best way to navigate this part of the city. It is especially convenient to come across a parking spot, and nearby highways are quite easy to access from anywhere in Haddow. On the other hand, commuting by public transit is challenging in Haddow. Thankfully, there are about 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most properties. Bicycling is easy in Haddow as there are a good number of bike lanes. Walking is not very practical for home buyers in this area because very few daily needs can be carried out on foot.


In Haddow, around three quarters of buildings are single detached homes, and the remaining properties are mainly townhouses. Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood has happened following the year 2000. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Roughly 90% of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 10% are rented.


There are no high schools and no primary schools in Haddow. Furthermore, there are only a very small number of daycares and accordingly they can be a very long walk away. In terms of eating, house buyers in Haddow usually have to rely on a car to do their groceries. Nevertheless, pharmacies are typically convenient to access on foot and supply some basic food items. There are also a few opportunities for those who value restaurants within walking distance.
