Hamptons is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced ambience. There are around 10 public green spaces close by for residents to unwind in, which makes it very easy to reach them. The noise levels in this part of the city are also very low, as the streets are usually very peaceful.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent means of transportation in Hamptons. Nearby highways are easy to reach from any location in this part of the city, and it is especially convenient to park. On the other hand, public transit riders may find limited options in Hamptons as a result of the low service level. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. Many of the homes for sale in this part of Calgary are located in places that are not very well-suited for walking because meeting daily needs is inconvenient. Although the topography is reasonably flat, Hamptons is also not very suited for bicycling since.

Housing

Hamptons experienced its main building boom in the 1990s, so most of the available housing stock is from this time period. In this area, the vast majority of dwellings are single detached homes, while the remainder are mainly townhouses. Homeowners occupy roughly 95% of the properties in Hamptons and renters occupy the remainder. This neighbourhood also has quite a good selection of housing sizes; this part of the city is notable for those looking for four or more bedroom homes.

Services

A portion of property owners in Hamptons may be able to travel to the closest supermarket on foot, while others will need a vehicle. There are also a few opportunities for those who appreciate restaurants in close proximity. Concerning education, there are only a limited number of primary schools in this area and accordingly they can be a rather long walk away. Likewise, this neighbourhood does not contain any high schools. Likewise, parents may consider it very difficult for their children to get to daycares as a pedestrian.
