Most locations within the neighbourhood have reasonably good access to green spaces, such as Kameyosek Park and Greenview Park, since there are approximately 10 of them nearby for residents to unwind in.     Transportation

    Moving around by car is very convenient in this neighbourhood. The majority of houses for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, and parking is quite easy. However, commuting by transit can be sometimes challenging in this area as a result of the service's low frequency. Thankfully, there are about 20 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are usually very close by. Walking in Hillview is not very popular, even though carrying out day-to-day needs is easy without a vehicle. However, bicycling is convenient in Hillview because the cycling infrastructure is reasonably good.

    Housing

    About two thirds of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners while the remainder are rented. In this neighbourhood, about half of buildings are single detached homes, but small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. This part of Edmonton experienced its most significant construction boom in the 1960s and 1970s, so most of the available properties are from this era. This part of the city is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.

    The closest supermarket in this part of Edmonton is usually only a long trip away. In addition, Hillview is a fairly good place in which to eat out, and house buyers are served by a few cafes as well. It is also a reasonably short trip to a good selection of clothing stores. Regarding education, families will appreciate that no matter where their home is situated in Hillview, daycares and primary schools are close by. However, parents may find it challenging for their children to get to high schools by walking.
