Most areas in this part of Edmonton are very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Finally, there are a few green spaces close by for residents to explore, like Hudson Park, and they are especially well-spread out, resulting in them being easy to get to from most locations in the neighbourhood.

Transportation

The favoured approach to navigate this part of the city is very often driving. It is very easy to park. However, public transit riders may find limited choices in this neighbourhood due to the low service level. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Biking is convenient in this part of Edmonton as the cycling network is good, and the terrain is reasonably flat. Hudson is not very conducive to walking because very few day-to-day needs can be carried out without the use of a car.

In Hudson, most dwellings are single detached homes, and the rest are mainly small apartment buildings. This area offers mainly two bedroom and three bedroom homes. This neighbourhood experienced its biggest building boom after the year 2000, so most of the available housing is from this era.

It is a rather short walk to get to primary schools from any location in Hudson. On the other hand, there are no high schools in Hudson. Regarding food, it is convenient to access the nearest grocery store by walking in this part of Edmonton.
