    Transportation

    The car is usually the favoured means of transportation in this part of the Greater Whitehorse metropolitan area. It is very easy to park. This hamlet is not very well-suited for people who like to travel as pedestrians since running daily errands is almost impossible without the use of a car. The bike is a fairly poor mode of transportation in Ibex Valley because the bicycling infrastructure is quite bad, and the topography is not particularly flat.

    Housing

    Single detached homes and row houses are the predominant housing type in Ibex Valley. Roughly 45% of properties in this hamlet were constructed after the year 2000, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1990s. This hamlet also has a good selection of housing size options; it is quite easy to find properties ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Roughly two thirds of the population of this hamlet own their home while the rest are renters.

    Ibex Valley does not have any high schools or primary schools. Additionally, daycares are not abundant and therefore not always within a short distance. In terms of eating, doing one's groceries usually necessitates the use of a car in this hamlet.
