Iskut 6 is an excellent reserve to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm environment. Iskut 6 is very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent means of transportation in this reserve. Parking is easy. The bicycle is a rather poor means of transportation in Iskut 6 since the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive, and there are a fair number of hills for cyclists to brave. Most homes for sale in this reserve are located in areas that are also not very suitable for pedestrians as almost no day-to-day errands can be run without the use of a car.

Housing

Roughly three quarters of the units in the reserve are occupied by renters whereas the rest are occupied by owners. Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing almost all buildings in this part of Kitimat-Stikine. About one third of homes in this reserve were built between 1980 and 1990, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 2000s. This reserve offers mainly two bedroom and three bedroom homes.

Services

In Iskut 6, parents and their children will almost always be able to access primary schools and daycares without the need for a car. On the other hand, neither secondary schools nor high schools are easy to reach on foot. In terms of eating, it is generally an option for property owners in Iskut 6 to buy groceries by walking.
