    Kedron is a wonderful neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced ambience. This part of Oshawa is excellent for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as the streets are generally especially peaceful. Finally, the majority of locations within the neighbourhood have good access to parks, including Greenhill Park, since getting to one from most properties for sale is very easy and there are about 20 green spaces close by for residents to unwind in.

    Transportation

    Cars are a very good transportation option in this neighbourhood. Parking is quite easy. On the other hand, the transit service in Kedron is rather poor. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. Cycling is at times difficult in Kedron as the topography is not especially flat, and the bicycling infrastructure is not particularly well-developed. Walking is also not very practical for residents in Kedron since very few common errands can be run without a vehicle.

    In Kedron, the overwhelming majority of dwellings are single detached homes, while small apartment buildings make up most of the remaining housing stock. Most of the housing growth in this part of Oshawa has occurred after the year 2000. This area offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Around 90% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home whereas renters make up the remainder.

    Services

    In most cases, a car is needed in this part of the city to reach the closest supermarket. Conversely, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and a small number of coffee shops is available as well. In terms of education, daycares and primary schools are convenient to access on foot from any location in Kedron. In contrast, there are no high schools in Kedron.
